- By participating in this site you will gain valuable work experience that will enhance your future career. You will also develop good research, communication and interpersonal skills. You will interact with fellow participants and develop new academic relationships.

- You will participate in various activities that include weekly symposiums, workshops on graduate studies, research methods, image processing basics,

- We partner with leading industry companies (such as IBM, Sarnoff, Videobank, and Vision Research) an provide visits to their locations. You will have the opportunity to see various aspects of the imaging and computer vision fields, from industry to research and education.

- You will be compensated for your participation in the project with a stipend of $3400. In addition, we will pay for your lodging in campus (estimated at over $2500) and provide a daily meal allowance (approximately $1000 for the period). Travel to and from Montclair are also covered (up to $500).

- For eight weeks this summer you will  live in the newest residential complex (the Village at Little Falls) of Montclair State University. You will have access to various university facilities. A baseball team (NJ Jackals) plays in our campus and a MLS soccer team (NY RedBulls) also trains here! The hosting city, Montclair, offers a large variety of dinning and shopping options.

- MSU is or connected by car, bus or train and only 14 miles from New York City, the most exciting metropolis of the world! The University has its own train station, one of six within Montclair offering direct access to New York. Convenient commuter buses also run day and night.
