The Center for Imaging and Optics originates from active research focused on vision, optics and image processing and grouped in the Image Processing and Systems Laboratory (IPSL), and Remote Sensing Laboratory (RSL). The Center brings together the research side of our activity with the course preparation and offering as well as constitute an identifiable entity in the organization of K-12 and community colleges outreach programs. This initiative fits very well with the current development of Montclair State University towards a research-intensive institution and ensure that Optics and Imaging Science are well represented.
